The Everest base camp tour is a breathtaking tour that will leave memories in your mind for years. The tour is 4 days long, but it is filled with activities each day. The first step in the adventure is the Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After enjoying the sites then you will take a flight over the Everest base camp tour witch show you all the beauties of the area that are sought after year after year. Then you will get to fly again, but this time the next stop is the Kala Patthar with allows you to get up close and personal to the impressive views of the Himalayas. You will get to fly around Everest on the third day of the trip, therefore, that will be one of the biggest highlights of the trip. Then after taking in the scenic views of what areas you will fly over to Gokyo Lakes, which includes six large beautiful lakes that give the meaning behind serenity. In the end, you will fly back to Kathmandu and land in Nepal to wrap the tour up.
There are many accommodations that are part of the trip. This includes airport pick up and drop offs and luxury hotel accommodations. The hotel is called Yatri Suites and Spa. Breakfast is included each day and there will be a welcome and departure dinner also provided. A private vehicle will also be provided for ground transportation within each city along with a guided city tour in Kathmandu and Patan. All the scenic entrance fees will be taken care of as well as the chopper expenses. All government taxes and local taxes are included. To top that off you will receive a t-shirt with the Himalayan Glacier’s logo encrusted and a map.
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu, get rested at the hotel, and enjoy a provided dinner hosted by Himalayan Glacier.
Day 2: Tour Pashupatinath temple, and the additional heritage sites. This includes Swayambhunath stupa, Boudhanath stupa, Patan Durbar Square, and the Patan Museum.
Day 3: Leave hotel at 6:00 am to the airport, take a flight over the Everest base camp, and land Kala Pattha for a short break to take in the views, including Everest. Then you will fly over to the Gokyo Lake and enjoy the area and experience the Himalayas. Once that is concluded you will fly back to the airport and get back to the hotel in Kathmandu, where you get to enjoy a departure dinner hosted by Himalayan Glacier.
