Me and my husband booked the Poon Hill Trek with Shera Sherpa Adventures, and honestly it was one of the best decisions we made during our time in Nepal. Before contacting Shera Sherpa Adventures, we reached out to many trekking companies. Most of them never replied, and the few who did did not feel professional or serious. Communication was slow and confusing, so we were not confident. Then we contacted Shera Sherpa Adventures, and everything changed. Within 5 minutes, Sandeep contacted me on WhatsApp. This was very impressive. He immediately shared all the information clearly and patiently. He sent us a detailed itinerary, explained the trek day by day, and answered every question without rushing. Sandeep was one of the most friendly and attentive people I have ever met while traveling. What really impressed me was that he even shared video reviews from past guests—including guests from Poland (my country) and Italy (my husband’s country). That gave us a lot of trust and confidence. We felt that this company is real, experienced, and honest. Because of this, we booked our trek within just 2 hours. We were already in Pokhara, so our trek was arranged Pokhara to Pokhara, which was very convenient. Everything was organised perfectly. Our guide Rinzi Sherpa and our porter arrived at our hotel before we even asked them to come. That shows how responsible and well-organised they are. Rinzi Sherpa was very knowledgeable, friendly, and calm. He explained everything clearly—about the trail, the villages, the culture, and the mountains. We always felt safe and well informed. Both the guide and porter were very attentive and always ready to help. We never felt rushed or ignored. From the first pickup until the last minute of the trek, we felt very well taken care of. The accommodations were nice, clean, and comfortable, and the whole trek was organised smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about anything—we just walked, enjoyed the views, and lived in the moment. Even after our trek, the care did not stop. After finishing the trek, we flew to Kathmandu to return to our country. Airport pickup was never mentioned in our plan, but to our surprise Mr. Ang Shera was waiting for us at the airport. He personally dropped us to our hotel and even offered us coffee. This small but very kind gesture meant a lot to us and showed how much they genuinely care about their guests. I truly believe Shera Sherpa Adventures is one of the best trekking companies in Nepal. They are kind, helpful, professional, and very reliable. If you want a stress-free trekking experience with people who really care about you, I highly recommend them. Thank you so much to Sandeep, Rinzi Sherpa, and the whole team. We will definitely come back again. See you next time! 😊Posted on FALDUTO ALESSANDROTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I used Shera Sherpa to do the Poon Hill trek. Sandeep is available for further explanation and helpful in suggesting options. During the trek our guide Rinji and Chiring were super kind and attentive, checking if we needed anything. We felt safe and looked after during the entire trip. I recommend this company.Posted on Joanne HolgateTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We made the trip to Nepal on 2nd Nov 2025, we had a few days settling in Kathmandu with the help of Shera Sherpa. He showed us around and helped exchange money etc. the trip to Lukla was by surprise helicopter which was incredible. Our guide met us at Lukla and took us for breakfast and a chat. He helped us through the experience by explaining and answering all our questions along the trek. He helped us through an unfortunate illness and we ended up having an extra day in Dingboche to recover. Nothing was a problem. We were extremely lucky with the weather which made the trek to Everest Base Camp fabulous. We were thrilled. Our porter was a quiet man but very smiley and friendly. Our guide was incredible, he seemed very popular and friendly among other guides and teahouse owners. I couldn’t recommend Shera Sherpa Adventures enough, they couldn’t do enough for us and made our trip the most incredible adventure of a lifetime.Posted on Jeff CurlTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t imagine a better experience than we had with Shera Sherpa. When initiating the process, I wanted someone who responds in a timely fashion and communicates well in English. Sandeep did this and more. Over several communications, we were able to come up with a trek that fit our wishes and time frame, and he wrote up a clear, descriptive itinerary. Shera, a complete gentlemen with a lovely Nepali spirit, made sure everything went well on the ground. He was there waiting for us when we arrived from any airport, made sure we got to our hotel, and when it was time to go home, somehow whisked us past a mayhem of crowds into a short line to get past security. For the actual trek, Bierbal was the perfect guide - a mixture of server, helper, listener, and motivator. The porter, Norris, rounded out an excellent team. I give the company my highest recommendations. Suggestions: trekking in Nepal is not easy, so don’t go over 10k a day if possible. Also, the worst experience was the overnight bumpy 5+ hour ride to Ramechhap. If I had to do it over again I would pay for a helicopter ride if unable to fly to Lukla directly from Kathmandu. Also, realize there may be weather delays and hence a need for alternative ways to travel. For example, we paid for a $400 helicopter ride back to Kathmandu after our trip because visibility was poor in Lukla. We saw it as part of the adventure, and we just wanted to get back after an exhausting trek.Posted on Aunyarat IntasornTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
